CAMPER AGES: Rising 3rd Grade through Rising High School Seniors
TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp. Monday - Thursday 9-3, Friday 9-5 at Oak Ridge Playhouse
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Our theater camp focuses on the art and process for young people. New and returning students will learn and strengthen fundamental acting techniques such as creating dynamic characters and communicating emotion through movement and voice. Participants will strengthen skills and explore new ideas in small groups, under the guidance and support of experienced theater performers and directors in a friendly and nurturing environment. Campers will explore the technical aspects of theater and practice creative problem solving, collaboration skills, and effective communication. Our goal is for each participant to grow in skill and personal confidence, whether onstage or off.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Students will work in both one large group as well as in the designated age groups. Groups will be divided as follows:
Group 1 – Rising grades 3-5
Group 2 – Rising grades 6-8
Group 3 – Rising grades 9-12
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
June 12-16, 2017
$200 per student
