CAMP FACILITIES: The camp is located at Inna's Hall of Fame Performing Arts Conservatory - a facility with 2 dance studios, a black box theater, 3 piano rooms, drums, guitar and art rooms.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The morning starts with stretching and goes over to acting. Rehearsing for the showcase of The Ever After A Musical. Lunch happens at noon, and the dance rehearsal, set design. We'll end with a run through.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: RYC provides free overnight camp to children with disabilities in order to raise their self-esteem, increase their social skills and provide opportunities for success in outdoor activities. Camp activities include camp activities like swimming, arts & crafts, hikes, bonfires, dance and therapy with horses and dogs and music. Each child has their own counselor for one on one attention. We have professional nursing staff 24/7 who also distribute medicine.

RYC was founded in 1974 by Rotary Clubs in District 6940. Clubs throughout the Florida panhandle provide almost 50% of the funds needed to manage the camp, $65,000 annually. In 2018 RYC was awarded the Florida State University Foundation and College of Education Exemplary Community Agency Award. Corporate and other donations provide our annual budget of $150,000. Campers are accepted without regard to ethnicity, gender, or disability.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: UWF's Explore Summer Camps present awesome opportunities for youth to widen horizons and discover new strengths. All of our programs are carefully designed to be engaging and fun. The summer 2020 season is from June 1 to August 7.

Instructors are certified teacher and are the best of the best. They are concerned about the welfare of all students, knowledgeable about their subject matter, work extremely well with parents, and are genuinely excited about teaching at UWF’s Explore Summer Camps. The safety of your child is our number one priority, and we take pride in our outstanding reputation in providing a very safe and enjoyable experience for your child. Our staff is full of energy and driven to provide motivating curriculum choices for you and your child. Everyone in the Explore Summer Camp staff has a thorough background check at the time of their assignment.

In addition, UWF Continuing Education and Explore Summer Camps have received top honors from the Association for Continuing Higher Education (ACHE) as well as from the University Professional & Continuing Education Association (UPCEA). CAMP FACILITIES: We feel that a camp experience should be one filed with the allure of living outdoors. Part of the experience is the soothing sounds of the Florida night. Our rustic cabins give the camper the perfect blend of the outdoor experience and a few comforts of home. Our cabins have 12-16 bunks, ceiling fans, power, storage shelves and a front porch. Teen campers enrolled in Camp Warrior live in more modern cabins complete with air conditioning, lofts, and a kitchenette. Bathhouses are located next to the cabin areas. Each bathhouse features toilets, sinks, and private shower stalls.

The flagship of our facilities is our newer 14,000 square foot activities center complete with 24 stall center isle barn, with tack rooms, wash bays, bathrooms and indoor skatepark. This 40 acre facility also houses our new high ropes challenge course designed by Project Adventure and our ATV track. Next to our activities center is our new camp office which includes a recording studio and comfortable, climate controlled activity room for Camp Warrior. An extensive renovation plan is in place over the next three years that will transform camp!

Another high point of Camp Indian Springs facilities is our natural fresh water spring. This natural wonder is over 40′ deep in some places! For most of the year the water flows clear and it always remains a refreshing 68 degrees. Indian Springs is internationally know as one of the best cave systems in the world to dive. Unfortunately we can’t offer this to our campers but we stay very busy catering to the divers in the off season. Tours can be arranged with Cave Connections.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Indian Springs, first established in 1965, is a fun-filled, action packed private summer resident camp for boys and girls ages 7-16. Located on 77 acres, camp is nestled beside the wooded springs of beautiful Wakulla Springs State Park amidst the Apalachicola and Wakulla Forest of North Florida. Camp Indian Springs offers a summer experience rich in fun, friendship, learning and extreme adventure. Camp Indian Springs is truly a place where a summer will last a lifetime!

While the Camp Indian Springs facilities and programs are terrific, we believe that it’s our camp staff that makes the summer experience truly special. High Seas Adventure Camp on our 70 foot yacht. Campers will get the chance to be on the crew of a real yacht as they travel. They will also experience treasure hunts as well as ride jet skis, and use our yachter-slide.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our C.I.T. program is one of our most valued Camp Indian Springs program. This program is vital to the success of our camp. This is where we grow the future camp staff and world leaders of tomorrow. Our Counselor In Training program is the first step to become a camp staff member. The program is for campers age 15 to 17 who desire to become camp staff. The program is designed to teach young men and women to become productive leaders and staff members. A majority of the camp’s current staff have come up through our C.I.T. program.

C.I.T.s are placed in a younger cabin with a Senior and Junior counselor and have a vital role in cabin leadership. C.I.Ts also take a C.I.T. only class and assist in other classes throughout the day.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We are open year round for group retreats, family camps, family reunions, and any other event possible.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We are open year-round for a tremendous and unforgettable experience for the whole family, school, sports team, or any other group! We have hosted countless retreat groups and they have all had incredibly memorable experiences. CAMP FACILITIES: Day camp. Professional art studios, recreation and lunch room.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Teaching staff are certified public school teachers with advanced degrees in the fine arts. Volunteer aids are high school and college students who are former campers. While summer camp is fun, the art projects integrate learning art techniques, art history, vocabulary. Children create individual projects as well as create group team art projects. Each campers art work is exhibited in the Boca Raton Museum of Art at the end of the summer.

Echoing Air, Inc., founded in 2009, features the voices of countertenors together with early instruments with a special emphasis on music of late 17th Century England. Performances include an expanded palate of other European chamber works of the period as well as 20th and 21st Century music composed for
countertenor and historical instruments. Echoing Air is comprised of internationally recognized performers and educators who have worked with leading proponents of early music.

Echoing Air’s commitment to music education has lead to the development of an active, all-inclusive educational program, with offerings for audiences of all ages.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: School of Rock Coral Springs is in it's 8th year. All of our camp leaders are have a degree in music and are professional musicians. You will be stunned at how much the kids accomplish in just one week, and you will get to see it, when they take the stage at a local rock venue!

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Aside from camp, School of Rock is a year round performance based music program. Our students combine private lessons with group themed rehearsals with the ultimate goal of of performing live on stage with the peers in a real band setting!

July 11th-15th Ska:
The perfect camp for the summer vibe, the ska camp will include a collection of second and third wave ska and highlight the history and musical background of the genre.

July 25th-29th Preview next season:
This camp will preview 5 songs from each of our upcoming fall season of shows.

August 8th-12th David Bowie Mega Camp:
Our summer camp finale will feature music honoring the legendary singer/songwriter and will include a high energy show with theatrical performance.

CAMP FACILITIES: Boarding students will reside at the University of North Florida in dormitories with private bathrooms. Full meal service is included and transportation on charter buses between Florida Ballet Training Center and UNF will be provided. Optional outings to the beach and other destinations may be offered. Boarding students will check in on Sunday, June 8 and check out on Saturdday, June 21.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The OBS Summer Intensive is for intermediate through advanced students ages 11 and up. International guest teachers supplement our professional, ABT Curriculum certified staff. Classes in ballet, character, pointe, variations, modern, jazz, men’s, partnering and nutrition are offered. Students participate in an average of six hours of daily training Monday through Saturday.

Student housing, transportation, and supervision are offered for participants. Structured recreational time and several trips to major theme parks are also included as an option. Only exceptional students are selected from a combination of national auditions and mailed DVD submissions.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: HADRACHA
Leader In Training- LIT
Entering 9th Grade
HADRACHA combines leadership training with a fun camp experience. LITs will work with campers and travel on field trips or participate in leadership and team building programs for 2 days. LITS will participate in mitzvah ("good deed") projects and trips. Additionally, one day will be spent at the JCC working on camp wide special events programming, and spending time with campers. An interview process and acceptance is required for admission into the LIT program. 25 Community Service hours will be awarded for each 4-week session.

MADRICH
Counselor In Training- CIT
Entering 10th Grade
Madrich CITs assist in camp groups and learn hands on skills as well as knowledge gained in leadership training sessions. A $100 stipend is given and 160 Community Service hours are awarded for each 4-week session. An interview is required for admission into the CIT program. Please contact Lene Saeger, x271, to schedule an interview. CIT staff requirement: 8 weeks preferred. Consideration will be given to 4-week applicants on an availability basis.
