Echoing Air, Inc., founded in 2009, features the voices of countertenors together with early instruments with a special emphasis on music of late 17th Century England. Performances include an expanded palate of other European chamber works of the period as well as 20th and 21st Century music composed for
countertenor and historical instruments. Echoing Air is comprised of internationally recognized performers and educators who have worked with leading proponents of early music.

Echoing Air’s commitment to music education has lead to the development of an active, all-inclusive educational program, with offerings for audiences of all ages.

Exploring Vocal Arts with Echoing Air will take place June 13-19, 2022

CAMP FACILITIES: The program will follow all CDC guidelines as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic. The session will have a maximum of only fifteen (15) participants in more than 3K sf and adhere to all safety precautions.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Carefully crafted sessions to give aspiring young singers the tools they need to succeed, LOL also intent to emerge students into the creative process between members of the production team. LOL offers a well-diversified program in a professional environment. Each instructor participants’ interact with throughout the day is an industry professional, offering an authentic and relevant experience in the business of opera as well as valuable connections that will support students on their opera journey.

Students are taught what high-quality work is and how to evaluate their work and others, it helps students in their cognitive, social, and emotional development, a perfect opportunity to engage and prepare them for and into the 21st Century competitive world.

CAMP FACILITIES: We rent two main spaces for camp and the students rotate between the spaces during the day rehearsing with the directors, choreographers & music directors, completing fun camp activities, and attending special workshops. Performances take place at Bailey Concert Hall at Broward College Central Campus in Davie, FL.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Campers work with professional instructors in acting, music, dance, and design to mount a full scale production at the end of each four-week session. June 27 – July 1 Survivor / Fear Factor Camp: There will be no eating bugs in this camp, but your team building skills will be put to the test with this all out fun and challenging survivor type Karate camp. This camp is a must for people who enjoy a truly challenging and rewarding activity.

July 5 – 8 Karate Arts Got Talent: America’s Got Talent is a fan favorite show that allows anyone to compete with a variety of acts. This is the ultimate talent show. So it’s time to show the world your Secret Talent! No Camp on Monday July 4th

July 11 – 15 Be A Movie Star Camp: During this camp, children will write a script, create and produce the set, and Star in their very own Movie. Each child will take home their copy of the Karate Arts Movie Camp Production for the entire family to laugh with and enjoy.

July 18 – 22 DIY Pinterest Projects Camp: During this camp, children will create and make very cool Pinterest DIY projects, and each child will take home their creations for the entire family to enjoy. There will other activities trough out the week like Water Day.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: RYC provides free overnight camp to children with disabilities in order to raise their self-esteem, increase their social skills and provide opportunities for success in outdoor activities. Camp activities include camp activities like swimming, arts & crafts, hikes, bonfires, dance and therapy with horses and dogs and music. Each child has their own counselor for one on one attention. We have professional nursing staff 24/7 who also distribute medicine.

RYC was founded in 1974 by Rotary Clubs in District 6940. Clubs throughout the Florida panhandle provide almost 50% of the funds needed to manage the camp, $65,000 annually. In 2018 RYC was awarded the Florida State University Foundation and College of Education Exemplary Community Agency Award. Corporate and other donations provide our annual budget of $150,000. Campers are accepted without regard to ethnicity, gender, or disability.

OTHER CAMP INFO: The Project Endeavor Experience takes students and faculty from around the globe and works with each participant to hone their skills and talents. Each participant will be assigned a team and each team will work with a team leader to design a project or perform a routine or create a masterpiece that will be shown to members of that given field at a final banquet. The team that is elected by members of that profession will be honored at the event and will be able to meet with the judges. As a part of the Project Endeavor experience, each team will base their project and the competition on behalf of a local charitable organization. The winning team will receive a donation on its behalf from Project Endeavor to the selected organization.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Five incredible powerhouse talents will cover every aspect of musicianship. We're not talking teen camp counselors; these are professional musicians and educators who have performed with the likes of Duke Ellington, Bob Hope, Sammy Davis Junior, Mel Tormé, Johnny Mathis, Styx, Lawrence Welk, Dionne Warwick, and so many more household names, and won so many awards that they've had to put in additions just to hold them all.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Weekly Jazz Jams and plenty of live performance opportunities. Fort Pierce Jazz and Blues Society also presents live musical acts throughout the year, hosts a full week of Jazz Fest every March, and raises funds to provide at least ten scholarships per year for talented young musicians pursuing a career in music.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Assembled for their talent, teaching ability, dedication, and enthusiasm for music, distinguished music professionals participate in HAPCO Jazz Band Camps. They include university professors, middle school and high school teachers, master, elective and lesson teachers, administrators, and undergraduate and graduate students who serve as counselors and mentors. Together, their knowledge and experience support an extraordinary educational opportunity where campers build confidence and develop good habits and attitudes that shape their future.

When the rehearsal are over, Overnight Campers will be able to take a break from their instrument while they explore Disney Parks, and participate in other fun activities with their fellow campers. While at camp, students will be supervised by our staff of Resident Camp Counselors. Meals are also taken care of (lunch for Day Campers and breakfast, lunch and dinner for our Overnight Campers).

At the end of the camp, students will perform in a concert at the Walt Disney World Resort Pleasure Island Downtown Disney on June 23rd, 2017.

This camp is for students who are currently in the 6th through 11th grade band and will be going into 7th through 12th grade the following school year and have played their instrument for at least one year.

HAPCO Jazz Band Camps (with Lead Instructors WyCliffe Gordon, Jeff Rupert, Scott Wilson, and Dr Otto Gomez) are designed to accommodate musicians ranging from the less experienced to the most talented, with a minimum of one year of training on their chosen instrument. It provides an excellent opportunity for young musicians to improve their individual performance skills as well as their ensemble playing ability.

Campers choose to fill their days with full ensemble rehearsals, sectionals, master classes, combo workshops, as well as theory, jazz history and improvisation training. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Teaching staff are certified public school teachers with advanced degrees in the fine arts. Volunteer aids are high school and college students who are former campers. The goals of this program are to prepare for teens for future work experiences, provide teens with training and skills to become effective leaders and role models, improve self-confidence, assist children in camp groups, and excel at handling responsibility resulting in a fun and productive summer. CAMP FACILITIES: We feel that a camp experience should be one filed with the allure of living outdoors. Part of the experience is the soothing sounds of the Florida night. Our rustic cabins give the camper the perfect blend of the outdoor experience and a few comforts of home. Our cabins have 12-16 bunks, ceiling fans, power, storage shelves and a front porch. Teen campers enrolled in Camp Warrior live in more modern cabins complete with air conditioning, lofts, and a kitchenette. Bathhouses are located next to the cabin areas. Each bathhouse features toilets, sinks, and private shower stalls.

The flagship of our facilities is our newer 14,000 square foot activities center complete with 24 stall center isle barn, with tack rooms, wash bays, bathrooms and indoor skatepark. This 40 acre facility also houses our new high ropes challenge course designed by Project Adventure and our ATV track. Next to our activities center is our new camp office which includes a recording studio and comfortable, climate controlled activity room for Camp Warrior. An extensive renovation plan is in place over the next three years that will transform camp!

Another high point of Camp Indian Springs facilities is our natural fresh water spring. This natural wonder is over 40′ deep in some places! For most of the year the water flows clear and it always remains a refreshing 68 degrees. Indian Springs is internationally know as one of the best cave systems in the world to dive. Unfortunately we can’t offer this to our campers but we stay very busy catering to the divers in the off season. Tours can be arranged with Cave Connections.

High Seas Adventure Camp on our 70 foot yacht. Campers will get the chance to be on the crew of a real yacht as they travel. They will also experience treasure hunts as well as ride jet skis, and use our yachter-slide.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our C.I.T. program is one of our most valued Camp Indian Springs program. This program is vital to the success of our camp. This is where we grow the future camp staff and world leaders of tomorrow. Our Counselor In Training program is the first step to become a camp staff member. The program is for campers age 15 to 17 who desire to become camp staff. The program is designed to teach young men and women to become productive leaders and staff members. A majority of the camp’s current staff have come up through our C.I.T. program.

C.I.T.s are placed in a younger cabin with a Senior and Junior counselor and have a vital role in cabin leadership. C.I.Ts also take a C.I.T. only class and assist in other classes throughout the day.

HADRACHA combines leadership training with a fun camp experience. LITs will work with campers and travel on field trips or participate in leadership and team building programs for 2 days. An interview process and acceptance is required for admission into the LIT program. 25 Community Service hours will be awarded for each 4-week session.

Madrich CITs assist in camp groups and learn hands on skills as well as knowledge gained in leadership training sessions. Specialty Camps give campers the opportunity to focus on learning new skills within a specific program area. Ages and dates vary by program. Programs this summer include theater, basketball, art, science, dance and more!

It’s also a place of learning and growth, where campers can explorer their interests and find out about ones they never had! CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We offer a Leadership Development Program for Grades 6-8. This program is the perfect blend of fun at camp, with experiential learning to put them on the path to becoming camp counselors. Participants spend time working with younger campers, learning through hands-on leadership training, and go on a special field trip just for the age group.

We also offer a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program for Grades 9-10. Our CIT Program prepares teens to work at camp. CITs are placed with a camper group and participate in workshops to learn child care and leadership skills, and gain valuable work experience.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: School's Out Days: Pack even more fun into your summer! Our School’s Out Day mini-camp program on Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1 bridge the end of school and the start of camp.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp J is a program of the Jack & Lee Rosen Jewish Community Center. We are a cultural institution whose mission is to serve local families and our entire community. Jewish values and culture are the foundation from which we derive our mission. We believe that these values – such as respect, honestly, friendship, and community – are universal.

The Southwest Orlando community is incredibly diverse, and this diversity is embraced in all of our programming. Our goal is to make all campers feel comfortable and included. We are not a religious institution, although we sometimes sing songs with Hebrew words (usually the word “shalom”, or “peace” is a prominent theme), and we do a brief Shabbat celebration on Friday afternoon, which includes a song session filled with spirit (“ruach”) and eating challah bread. Improv-a-thon
July 15 - July 26. Performance July 26 at 6pm. Camp runs from 9am - 3pm. For advanced 8th - 12th graders. A two-week acting & play-building workshop for creative teenagers and young adults. We combine improvisation techniques, writing, visual art, storytelling, and community engagement to create an original piece. Limited to 15 participants. Register early! This year's theme: Road Trip. Camp A-Go-Go �Go-Go 2:
July 8 - July 12 Camp runs from 9am - 1pm. For 1st - 4th graders. One week creative dramatic camps encompassing theater games, storytelling, dress-up, pantomime, singing, and dancing. Non-stop fun and learning as students learn self-control and ignite their creativity within a group setting. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
We are currently hiring in all areas for the summer of 2022.  Positions include general counselors, Arts & Crafts, Lifeguards, Sports Specialists, Kitchen Staff, Dance, Nature.

CAMP FACILITIES: Students will have access to the main theatre where they will meet each morning as a student company.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: "We SPEAK. A Teen Theater Workshop" offers high school students a two-week, hands-on workshop where they train with industry professionals. Participants may choose one of two tracks: Performance or Technical Theatre Design. Each morning, all student company members will meet for ensemble-building activities, breath work, and a writing workshop. After lunch, most days each track will break into groups to work on learning the theatre skills taught in their chosen track and on developing the performance and design elements of their production based on the company’s written pieces.

On performance day, students will leave camp as usual at 3:00 pm and will return at 6:00 pm to prepare for their 7:00 performance. On the final day of each camp, the company will engage in an evaluation of their work process, their production, and the We Speak experience, ending with an informal cast and crew party at the end of the camp day.

The exploration and development of the students’ original stories will culminate in a production created, designed, and performed by the students themselves. Each student will choose their track in either performance or technical design. Being a creator of art is truly transformative. At Mad Cow Theatre, we want to share our passion for the arts to help teens understand how much their stories matter.

Students may apply for a We Speak needs-based scholarship when they register. Applicants will be informed on whether or not their application has been approved by June 1st.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Each We Speak will have an evening performance on the second-to-last day of camp:

OTHER CAMP INFO: Mad Cow Theatre will be following the protocols below to maintain safety for all participants:

-All staff and students must wear face coverings at all times.
-Classrooms and class materials will be disinfected at the end of each day.
-There will be a maximum of 12 students, 2 teaching artists, and 1 teaching assistant together at any given time.
-Student Check-in/Check-Out will take place at the curb on Church Street in front of the theatre.
-All students and staff members will have their temperature checked by staff at the beginning of each day.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: YMCA Camp Winona provides a great traditional, overnight camping experience. We try to balance tradition with the interests of today’s campers by offering fun, exciting and safe activities. Campers are grouped by age and gender and stay in small rustic cabins complete with built in bunk beds and air conditioning. There are up to 12 campers and two staff in each cabin surrounding centrally located bathhouses. Our meals are prepared by our camp chefs and served family style in our air conditioned dining hall. Our well-balanced meals include cereal, salad bar and sandwich options for those campers wishing an alternative/supplement to the meal. We are equipped to accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs.
