CAMP FACILITIES: KSA's gorgeous property features a 200 acre lake, a 15,000 square foot main lodge, 20,000 square foot field house, new bunks and brand new courts and fields. Kutsher's has 9 outdoor tennis courts on site, along with 4 outdoor and two indoor basketball courts. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Founded in Monticello, New York in 1968 by Milton Kutsher and legendary college basketball coach Clair Bee, Kutsher's Sports Academy was the first camp to offer an entirely elective sports program. KSA is ACA accredited and has been in the CampRatingz top ten camps in the nation for two years running. CAMP FACILITIES: Our 55 acre campus houses numerous athletic fields, an outdoor pool, archery range, auditorium, tennis courts, and numerous buildings for our specialist activities.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our dedicated and qualified staff provide daily fun and exciting activities for our campers. We have 6 specialists that lead campers in exciting and age-appropriate activities. Our specialists include Arts and Crafts, Sports, Music and Drama, Archery/Outdoor Education, STEM, and Special Events. Our camp is able to provide Red Cross Certified Swim Lessons 4 times a week to our K-5 campers. Our certified trained staff of lifeguards provide swim lessons that target the individual needs your child to help them swim.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CIT program for teens and young adults.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our building has an indoor space for sports, a kitchen for our cooking activities and 4 classrooms for different age groups. Outside we have a basketball hoop, 4 square and hopscotch alongside the beautiful Forest Park. We drive the children to a Woburn public pool for swimming and go to a local baseball field for our annual ASC Kickball game.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our carefully selected, experienced staff is dedicated to meeting the needs of each child by providing a safe and caring environment. They take an active interest in promoting values of self-esteem, independence and mutual respect. Many are teaching professionals who work in Woburn and surrounding towns. All are trained in CPR, first aid and childhood development. The diversity in age and background of our staff helps to make the ASC "The place where kids have so much fun, they beg to stay later!"

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: During the school year we pick up from Woburn Elementary Schools and transport the children to the After School Club where they stay until 5:45p.m.

During Christmas, February and April vacations we are open full days from 7:45a.m. - 5:45p.m.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: ACA Accredited Nobles Day Camp adheres to the philosophy of our founders Grandin Wise and George K. Bird, who established the camp in 1948. We provide a safe and supportive environment for our campers to enjoy recreation in a fun and non-competitive atmosphere. Our campers learn to take positive risks and respect the rights of others while developing positive self-esteem and building long-lasting friendships.

CAMP FACILITIES: The main building at Belvoir is a historical mansion built in 1886, one of the Lenox great estates landscaped by Olmstead who created central park in New York City. There are now eighteen buildings on the site including four modern dorms subdivded into bunk rooms, four dancing studios, fifteen art studios, twenty two music studios, five theaters, two pools, six tennis courts, lawns, wooded paths, gardens, and all with a view of the Berkshire hills.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Belvoir is an individualized six week educational summer program with excellent teaching in all program areas. The fifteen MFA art teachers offer small classes in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, fibers, black and white and digital photography and jewelry. Girls can elect one or many studio classes. The dance faculty teach graded classes of ballet, pointe, modern, jazz and tap. Belvoir has an appropriately challenging and fun dance class for every girl and all dancers enjoy performance opportunities. The large graduate music faculty offer twice weekly music lessons in all instruments and voice. There are opportunities for recitals, chamber music, opera, and orchestra.

Belvoir has a large theater program. Classes are offered in acting, musical theater and Shakespeare, with many large, quality performances in 4 theaters (2 indoor air-conditioned theaters). The department also offers writing, costuming and all aspects of technical theater. Campers enjoy high level sports instruction in tennis, swimming and riding. Archery, volleyball and basketball are also offered at Belvoir. The totally choice program, the supportive welcoming staff and campership make Belvoir a unique opportunity for young women excited about learning in the arts. Belvoir campers learn in their classes, enjoy camp events, parties, evening activities, trip-days, and make life-long friends!

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: The campers have opportunities to learn leadership skills from an early age. Belvoir's program is based on each individual camper's choice. Through this individual programming, each camper is learning leadership skills. Also, various age groups have opportunities to lead part of, or the entire, evening activity. Learning how to work together, come up with a common theme, and structure the event adds to the leadership experience.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Individualized instruction in ballet technique, conditioning, repertory, and creative independent assignments will be given with the caring attention that is the hallmark of JMBT’s school. Participants will receive a student instructional workbook and other course materials thoughtfully designed to optimize comprehensive ballet training during times of necessary physical distancing.

Students will work closely with members of JMBT’s faculty in limited-size classes offering substantial individual feedback. Every student can expect considerable advancement from expert technical training and the opportunity to learn, rehearse, and produce solo performance videos of new, original choreography.

The Ballet at Home™ Summer Intensive Course© is intended for committed students who understand that current social restrictions do not have to prevent them from making the progress they typically expect from a live intensive summer program.

OTHER CAMP INFO: AUDITION REQUIREMENT
Students not previously enrolled in JMBT programs or not previously accepted into the 2020 Summer Performance Intensive will be asked to submit an audition video consisting of an adage at the barre, an adage in the centre, and an allegro combination with turns. All exercises should be 32 counts. Videos do not need to be professional quality.

Audition videos should be submitted by email to Gabrielle Domb (gdomb[AT]ballettheatre.org). The deadline to submit a video is June 18.

What's better than building a robot? Building a robot that you can put up against your friends robot in armored combat! In this camp students will have the opportunity to create a fully controllable robot that is designed and build for combat. at the end of the week, students will put their creations to the test against other student robots! What will you create?

2D Game Design
Learn to program by creating your own 2D game! From side scroller to endless runner and anything in between, you will learn how to bring your idea to reality. At the end of this camp you will have a playable game that you can share with your friends and the experience and tools to make as many games as you want!

Digital Designer
Creating your own character can be overwhelming, but this class can teach you the steps you need to create a fully flushed out, real character! This class will teach you how to create a model of your character as well as all of the traits that make the character believable. You can use these characters in anything from D&D to professional animation!

Tabletop Game Inventor
Games come in all shapes, sizes, complexity, and feeling. In this camp students will start by learning how to think about game design and game flow, working through idea, prototype, and finally making a full game that they made and can play with their family and friends. Students will be able to craft their game using a variety of tools to help bring the beauty of their design into the real world.

3D Design in Blender
This class will teach you how to create an amazing 3D character in Blender! This class will focus on how to create your own characters in blender that can be used for any game you might use! We will focus on modeling, rigging, and rendering your character.

Game Dev in Unity 3D
Make a game that is uniquely yours using industry leading tools while learning the C# Programming Language! From RPG to adventure game, this camp is all about bringing your story and imagination to life, and at the end you'll have a game that is playable and shareable with your friends.

For Jr. Makers Ages (8-11), we have dedicated times for instruction with students at various stages of completion, The project diversity helps students communicate and bounce ideas off each other, part of community building. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Are you a tinkerer? Do you enjoy taking things apart and then putting them back together? How about using the latest technologies and real world equipment to teach kids how the world works? If so, then this may be your dream job! Guild Hall Studios (Our Camp Website Link: www.guildhalllearning.com) is an educational makerspace that introduces children and teens ages 8-18 to STEM and real world job concepts using readily available, easy to learn, yet powerful tools and components. We are hiring additional smart, creative, dynamic coding and engineering instructors to deliver our one of a kind program to students in Woburn, MA and throughout the Boston area. This part-time position includes teaching programs during after school hours (4pm-7pm) with weekday mornings and weekends throughout the year, and full day camp programs during the summer.

Buckle up – this is hard work! At Guild Hall every kid and every project is unique. You'll be in charge of leading excited kids through challenging projects using, managing classroom conflicts, constantly learning and collaborating with other instructors. – this will be the toughest job you’ll ever love!

REQUIREMENTS: Flexible schedule: availability during weekday afternoons and some weekends a must during school year, full weekdays during summer months are available as well.

Experience and passion for teaching teenage students in an energized maker classroom or summer camp setting.
STEM related coursework, experience with Unity 3D, arduino, Raspberry Pi and other technologies interest and/or experience a plus!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: SPOTLIGHT aims to engage today's youth in the discovery of theatre's many components. In an exciting, non-competitive, fun filled environment, we strive to enrich appreciation for Theater Arts through education, creativity, and passion. Participants receive theatre arts training both on stage and backstage which strives to foster each individual's talents and aspirations with an emphasis on teamwork and personal growth.

THE SPOTLIGHT THEATER WORKSHOP was designed not only to be a lot of fun, but to also focus on strengthening the skills of our participants and teaching them new and exciting elements involved in the performing arts. Some of our classes will include acting, singing, dancing, technical theater, improv, and auditioning skills. Also, we're very excited about incorporating film/television acting and production into the workshop!

Monologues will also be worked on during class time so that upon completion of the program, participants will be comfortable using their pieces at auditions in the future. There will also be many outdoor activities, free time, and special guests!

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Arts Empowering Life is dedicated to the pursuit of beauty, truth, and faith in the Arts—sharing inspiration and education with people across many nationalities, cultures, and traditions. Empow’s Minecraft Camp is the ultimate week-long learning adventure! Our camps are tailored to all skill levels, whether you’re just starting out your explorations or you already know you’re way around creepers. We start by introducing campers to Redstone, a special kind of element that mimics electricity almost perfectly. Campers of nearly any skill level can have fun building circuit boards, and even making a very simple computer inside Minecraft. As they master Redstone skills, we offer challenges that teach key concepts in programming, design, electrical engineering, and architecture, all while using teamwork and social skills. It’s the perfect blend of fun, learning, and creativity.

CAMP FACILITIES: Lawrence Academy is a private boarding high school that offers summer programs. The campus has a swimming pool, 12 tennis courts, 3 indoor basketball courts, 8 athletic fields, a theater, dining hall, and numerous indoor air conditioned spaces. Summer programs are open to ages 3.5-17.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The 100-acre Lawrence Academy campus provides the setting for over 30 day camp offerings for children entering grades K–12 and an overnight English, Mandarin, Spanish, and French immersion program for American and international students. Summer Programs at Lawrence Academy are divided into three types: Day Camp, Specialty Camps, and Sports Camps. We offer nine one-week camp sessions beginning June 22, and ending August 21, 2015 for children entering Kindergarten through grade 12. The camp day begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. An on-campus swimming pool is available to all program participants.

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers enjoy the JCC's air-conditioned, professional theater, art and dance studios, science classrooms, an indoor pool for lessons, and a zero-entry outdoor pool for free swim. Additionally, campers enjoy a dedicated gaga pit, outdoor ping pong and foosball tables, tennis courts, fields, woods, trails, and access to the Charles River. Campers may bring a vegetarian or fish lunch, or pre-order lunch from our on-site kosher caterer.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Kaleidoscope is dedicated to making camp a fun, nurturing, educational experience for each camper. Staff include well-trained bunk counselors ages 18 and up who work with groups of campers daily, and professional teachers who lead classes. Programming is organized into two four-week sessions, with flexible registration options. Registration minimum is two weeks.

All campers swim daily, with lessons offered twice weekly with our professional aquatics staff, utilizing the Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy methods. Each session culminates in "Arts Night," including art and science exhibits, musical performances from lower and middle camp groups, and a fully realized musical from upper campers.

Lower campers entering grades K & 1 enjoy a balanced day of arts, science, and sports activities with caring, inclusive counselors and specialists. Middle campers entering grades 2 & 3 follow a schedule of diverse activities with their groups and enjoy "choice times" when they individually choose activities. Upper Campers in grades 4-8 design their own programs, choosing activities weekly, including theater, art, music, dance, boating and more. Upper Campers who elect to be in the musical attend for a full, 4-week session. All campers attending weeks 4 and/or 8 participate in "Arts Night", showcasing their art and science projects, and performing for parents and friends.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: CITs in grades 9-11 are an integral part of camp, providing leadership and receiving training while also pursuing their own interests. They create their own schedule under the guidance of dedicated CIT staff. They spend approximately half the day assisting camper groups or activities, and half the day pursuing their own interests. CITs pay a reduced rate.

Specialists teach classes daily culminating in art and science exhibits and performances at the end of each four-week session. Counselors
Seeking mature, reliable, patient people who understand what it takes to make a camper's day a wonderful experience. JCC Kaleidoscope Creative Arts & Science Camp is a pluralistic camp welcoming the entire community. While camp is not easily accessible by public transportation, bus counselor positions are available from Framingham and Brookline. Counselors must be 18 years of age or older or high school graduates with demonstrated leadership skills and experience working with children. All counselors must be available for the full eight-week season.

Lower and Middle Camp Counselors work in pairs or groups of three and are responsible for a group of 10-15 campers entering grades K-3. They support and nurture campers throughout the day as campers attend activities in the arts, science, sports and swimming. Middle camp counselors may also assist in other areas throughout camp.

Upper Camp Counselors work with campers entering grades 4-8. They teach or assist in classes, activities and theatrical productions. Positions include: tennis and other sports teachers, costumer, assistant tech director for shows, guitar and piano teachers, boating specialists (lifeguard certification required), and crafts teachers. Upper Camp teaching counselors should have completed at least one year of college.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Spend an idyllic week in Rockport, Massachusetts, working intensively with one of New York City’s top performing dance companies! The Windhover Center for the Performing Arts partners with Dušan Týnek Dance Theatre in July to offer a week-long intensive dance workshop. Sallee Slagle, director of the sumer program, was also a dancer with the Windhover Dance Company for many years, and a graduate of Boston Conservatory where she first met Ina Hahn, executive director.

Windhover was founded by Ina Hahn, who was a member of Doris Humphrey's and Charles Weidman's Dance Companies. Ms. Slagle is the Artistic Director of her own modern dance company, Forty Steps Dance and teaches ballet and modern at colleges and her own dance and fitness studio, Dance Dimensions in Nahant, MA. Once again members of Dusan Tynek Dance Theatre, named one of NYC top 5 modern dance companies, will be joining our faculty, bringing their inspiring technique and passion. CAMP FACILITIES: Lodging accommodations at Camp Timber Trails include rustic summer cabins sleeping 4-8; three private cabins with 1-2 bedrooms, bath, and kitchens; the Lodge sleeps 6 and has a meeting space for 60 and small commercial kitchen; the Welcome Center sleeps 2-6 and has meeting space for 25 and a kitchen. West Wind Dining Hall and kitchen can accommodate up to 500. The Barefoot Ballroom is uniquely fitted with a sprung wooden dance floor.

An outdoor amphitheater overlooking the pond has bench style seating for 200. The waterfront on 16-acre Ward's Pond includes swimming beach and docks for canoes, kayaks and row boats. The large activity field has plenty of space for softball, soccer, concerts, festivals and outdoor events.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Timber Trails is available for groups to rent for a single day, a week or a month. Our facilities allow groups the flexibility of creating their own unique camping program. Camp facilities are available from May through October for overnight groups with as few as 10 to as many as 250 participants. Non-residential day programs can accommodate groups larger than 250. Scheduling programs from November through April is also possible, however groups size is limited to 20 for overnight programs and 50 for day use.

George School is the solar-powered Alternative Energy Center. It’s a Philadelphia meetinghouse from 1812 conserved and moved to our campus. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: A summer dance workshop is a rare opportunity for students (ages 4-18) to focus on dance, uninterrupted by competing demands of school and other activities. Warm days rich in dance, music, choreography, stage craft classes and the finer understanding of the body that comes from studying anatomy, physiology and nutrition combine for a powerful experience - even for the youngest students!. Students learn about costume design, stage-craft, dance history, and experiment with their own creative ideas as well. CAMP FACILITIES: Our school is made up of 4 buildings. We house 70 dorm rooms, a dining hall, classrooms, library, media centers and much more. We have 6 tennis courts, an outdoor pool, fitness center, art and theater areas. Outside we are set on 100 acres of land that include forest and vast open spaces. Our barn is our pride and joy and at this point is the home to 35 school horses.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Speak Up I: Introduction to Debate and Public Speaking Camp is designed for campers who have little or no experience in speaking in front of a group. Our goals are to have fun and learn some ways to use our voices effectively.

Speak Up II: This camp is designed for high school students ready to refresh, refine, and advance their public speaking skills. Gain confidence as you learn from and with others who are seeking to enhance their voice powers/amplify their voices? in a fun, supportive environment!

Performing Arts: Campers will take part in dance, voice and theater.

Bonnie Castle Equestrian: Premiere riding camp for beginner and experienced riders. This summer we will be offering the British Horse Society Program challenge awards, where campers will work at their own pace to complete learning opportunities as equestrians.

Campers are taught by Stoneleigh-Burnham staff. Counselors for the residential programs are CPR and first aid certified as well as we complete criminal offender and sex offender background checks.

Speak Up camps are for debate and public speaking. Campers will learn the art of conversational and competitive speaking. As well as learn to use their voce for effective communication and advocacy.
